Cowboys Cutting Ticket Sales Staff

The Dallas Cowboys let go roughly half of their season ticket sales staff today, according to two sources. As is the case in most of these situations, the layoffs were not pretty. One of my sources has received three phone calls in the last hour from former ticket sales personnel looking for work.

Post Seahawk and Niner Stuff

Well the good news today. Demarcus Ware and Marion Barber appear to be okay and should be ready to go against the Steelers in 9 days.

The great news today. Cowboys are 8-4. And all of these "if the playoffs started today" scenarios on TV and in the paper, etc, should include Dallas after Sunday. Most likely. Radio Waves

Not sure how many of you care about such things, but I do since I am in the biz....Radio ratings have undergone the most dramatic change in, well, ever....with Arbitron dropping the ridiculous process of filling out diaries to track what a person listens to. The problem? Most people would do this for about, oh a half a day and then just lie their way through the rest of their weekend, etc. This is how ad rates were being set for radio? Unreal.
